Medieval County of Cumberland.

Dalby has been described as a Uncertain but is rejected as such.

Description

Nothing is known of: Dalby in Harvey. (King 1983)
Comments

There is no Dalby place-name in OS 1:50,000 gazetteer for Cumbria. No other references to a Dalby in Cumberland found by Gatehouse.
Clearly an error of some sort but what Harvey was referring to is obscure.
